Types of orders

The Webshop supports the placement of standard orders, standing orders, and proposed orders from the syngo Laboratory Inventory Management systems.

  1. Standard order- A standard order is a one-time order that can be placed for reagents and consumables for Laboratory Diagnostics analyzers and spare parts for the Medical Imaging/Clinical Products.

Note: Although the Webshop will allow you to add products from both Laboratory Diagnostics and the Medical Imaging/Clinical product groups in the same cart, Siemens will treat it as two separate orders. You will have the opportunity to provide separate billing and shipping information for each order. The Medical Imaging/Clinical product group is currently only available for the customers in USA.

  1. Standing order – A standing order is a functionality that allows you to set up multiple scheduled deliveries for a set of products by placing a one-time order with Siemens. This functionality is supported only for the Laboratory Diagnostics product group for the customers in the USA.

  2. Proposed order from Siemens syngo Laboratory Inventory management product (sLIM) –Customers utilizing the syngo Laboratory Inventory Management (sLIM) system will be able to review proposed orders from sLIM, make adjustments if necessary and submit it to Siemens Healthcare.
